Which Adobe Course Should Your Team Start With?

"We want to learn Adobe" is one of the most common requests we get. But Adobe is not one app. It is a family of tools, and each one is built for a different kind of work. Picking the right course first saves your team time and your training budget.
Start with the work, not the app
Ask one question: what does your team need to produce every week? The answer points to the right app.
- Photos, banners and social media images: Photoshop. Retouching, cutting out products, compositing and mock-ups.
- Logos, icons, branding and packaging: Illustrator. Sharp vector artwork that scales from a name card to a billboard.
- Brochures, annual reports and multi-page documents: InDesign. Clean layouts and print-ready PDFs.
- Corporate videos, interviews and social reels: Premiere Pro. Editing, sound, colour and export.
- Animated titles, motion graphics and effects: After Effects. Best learned after Premiere Pro.
Common team setups
Marketing teams usually start with Photoshop, then add Premiere Pro for video. Corporate communications teams often need InDesign for reports and Illustrator for branding. In-house video teams go Premiere Pro first, then After Effects.
How long does it take?
Most of our Adobe courses run as 2, 3 or 5-day programs. Two days covers the essentials for daily work. Five days takes your team to a confident, job-ready level and prepares them for the Adobe Certified Professional exam, which they can sit at our Certiport testing centre in Cyberjaya.
Funding
All our Adobe courses are HRD Corp claimable. Fees include 8% SST, plus breakfast and lunch every training day, and we provide high-end workstations so nobody needs to bring a laptop.
